Three Australian children killed in Denmark crash

Three Australian children have been killed in a car crash while on holidays in Denmark.

A nine-year-old girl and her two brothers, aged three and 11, were killed when the car they were in collided with another vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.
Their Danish-born mother survived the crash, as did her baby.
The woman's Australian husband was was reportedly with his father-in-law at the time of the crash.
The family, from the West Australian town of Pemberton, had gone to Denmark to visit the woman's father.
A Danish police spokesman says the weather was clear and sunny at the time of the crash, but the woman probably did not see the other car as she turned.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says staff from the Australian Embassy in Copenhagen are liaising with local authorities in order to provide consular assistance to the family.
